About CUPPING CLINIC
Having Studied Pharmacy in London for a while, whilst working at one in my younger days, I was truly intrigued and fascinated with the way in which the Human body had been created. The only part I was not fond of was the use of chemicals which suppressed the actual underlying cause of diseases majority of the time and many times cleared one ailment to give rise to another, as a side effect.
Back in 2019 I was teaching at my Academy in Southall whilst having bad back pain. As the Cupping Clinic was coincidentally situated diametrically opposite my Academy, I decided to cross over and inquire about possible treatment they had for my back. I was recommended Wet Cupping (Hijama) which was an ancient art form which I was told was practised pre-dominantly by people from Arabia and South East Asia. They explained that Wet Cupping works by removing the stagnated blood from areas where pain is felt, this in turn leads to a better flow of blood and also eases inflammation and pain in the area being cupped. Lo and behold, the treatment worked wonders for me, without the added side-effect.
I was amazed and went back there to feedback my experience with the director at the time. They say some-things in life are meant to be; the leaseholder shared with me the fact he was looking to sell the clinic. We eventually came to a mutual agreement and I took over the clinic.
It suddenly dawned on me, having had the treatment done on myself and actually practising on someone else is poles apart, but due to the way in which it made me feel I decided alongside my wife to go and undertake the course.
Once we were fully qualified and certified, we were apprehensive to work directly on clients, hence carried out in excess of 100 free cupping sessions for family and friends in order to gather feedback.
The feedback and results were nothing short of miraculous and hence prompted us to open our service to the market.
Fast forward 3 years to 2022, before we knew it myself and wife have carried out in excess of 500 Cupping therapy sessions to the delight of the majority of our patients; which is testament to the positive effect of the treatments we offer, not forgetting to mention that we have Drs Visiting us for the treatment.
As a value add, over the past 3 years we have added services such as Fire Cupping, Fire Cupping Massage, Deep Tissue Massages, Health Checks etc.
As a business we have recently gained the mark of honour and are registered with the Complementary Medical Association and myself being a U.K licensed teacher, we are now licensed to teach and certify Wet Cupping (Hijama) courses.
